So what is Pierce Law, P.A.?
Mr. Pierce graduated magna cum laude from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan in September of 2001 and decided to start his legal career in the State of Florida. From his first legal job he has consistently worked for companies and individuals in civil litigation and transactional law. From insurance companies to churches, small business people to corporate presidents, beneficiaries of estates to municipalities, he has represented clients with differing needs and interests.
His legal practice areas include business litigation, real estate litigation, guardianships, wills and estate planning, representation of not-for-profit companies, small business, corporation and employer representation. Many of his cases in the last few years have involved defending individuals in foreclosure litigation with lenders.
Mr. Pierce also teaches. He was an Introduction To Law instructor when Thomas M. Cooley Law School opened the doors of its Tampa Bay Campus in Riverview, Florida and he now teaches aspiring law students on topics including Legal Research & Writing, Scholarly Writing, Appellate Advocacy/Moot Court and Advanced Writing.
Mr. Pierce also holds a real estate broker’s license in the State of Florida, and has prior experience in real estate sales and marketing, as well as license and agency law, and legal issues concerning the creation and operation of a real estate office.
